A huge thank you to Scottish Widows for kindly inviting our Account Director, Suzanne Wilkinson to attend The Macmillan Ball as their guest. The ball took place at the prestigious Victoria & Albert museum in London and was truly a night to remember. Suzanne felt very privileged to attend such special event.
The night was a huge success and due to the generosity of everyone that attended over £520,000 has been raised, this money could pay for four Macmillan nurses to complete their full two-year Macmillan specialist training programme to help ensure more people living with cancer get the vital support they need. This support can make such a difference to the journey of people living with cancer. Macmillan not only provides specialist healthcare, information and financial support to people affected by cancer but also looks at the social, emotional and day to day impact that cancer can have.
A worthy cause indeed!
